The NNDDR is designed to generate a warning about the presence of a person in a given area at a given time. The device constantly receives a video form an IP surveillance camera. The video is processed by neural network that detects persons. Person detection is used to generate warning and for recording video with higher resolution and frame rate. The device can be used to monitor a private house, cars or bicycles parking. Using the device does not require an additional fee for using Internet cloud services. The person detection using neural network calculations allows NNDVR not to react to the movement of trees, clouds, insects or a headlights of passing cars. The device is powered by a Raspberry PI4 with a capacity of 2 GB. The device receives a video using the RTSP protocol from a single IP camera (not included in the package) with a resolution from 2 MP to 4 MP. The video is processed by the neural network with configuration MobileNetv2 416×416 with 3 FPS. When a person is detected, the device sends a Telegram message to the user (needs an Internet connection). Configuration of the device allows a user to create a Telegram bot that sends a messages. Since there is no connection to cloud services and all calculations are performed by the device itself, this is completely safe of the user’s video information. The device is running under Raspberry OS. The user must be able to configure the IP address of the device, connect the camera via the RTSP protocol and connect to the Internet. This device was made as part of a startup by a team of programmers.
