To add a camera to the ADT control platform you will need to have a video service level with ADT.

If you are currently an ADT customer, and on the ADT control platform, and have at least one video device (doorbell, indoor or outdoor camera) then you are at the video service level and able to add cameras to your system yourself. It is important to understand that ADT’s “QSP” (quality service plan) does not cover equipment that was not installed by ADT should it fail. However the money saved on the installation and purchase can be weighed in making your decision.
