This mini security camera only supports 2.4GHz WiFi and cannot support 5GHz.The outdoor camera’s power type is corded electric(DC 12V), and not a battery camera.Please note: Please reset this bulb camera first when connecting for the first time. Reset steps: After powering on the camera connection and normal self-test, use Sim Card Tray Remover to insert the Reset button next to the Card Slot, wait 3-5 seconds, you will hear a ‘Beep~’, that means the reset is completed.

Q: Is this camera a battery camera?

A: No, it is not a battery wireless camera ,it need to plug-in to the power outlet always for use.Wireless means It can connect to your wifi router wirelessly,no need network cables.

Q: Will this mini camera be able to link to my NVR device?

A: Yes, you can. First of all, you need to connect to the camera via mobile app (Tuya Smart), after it can display the screen normally, it means you are bound to the LAN for this camera. Then you can search for the IP address of the camera and connect via the NVR (make sure the NVR is under the same LAN as the camera).

Q: Do I have to subscribe to the cloud service to use the camera?

A: No. Cloud storage is optional, and users can use the cameras without subscribing to cloud storage. We also provide 24-7 recording functions on SD card storage. (64G SD card included)

Q: Can I get an alert notification on my phone when the camera detects a moving object?

A: Yes, the camera has accurate motion detection. When the camera is online, simply turn on the motion alert function to receive a motion alert notification.

Q:What can I do if the Power cable is too short?

A:You can buy “DC 12V camera power extension cord”, which is compatible with security cameras.

!!!Please do not add extension cords longer than 33ft between camera and power adapter,it may suffer voltage reduction which would cause device malfunction in 3-6 months.
