This 8CH CCTV DVR/NVR is a full featured hybrid digital video recording system which can record Analog camera and IP camera simultaneously, but you need to adjust the channel type to hybrid mode first. The default is DVR mode which support HD analog camera only.
The DVR supports up to 8 pcs analog security cameras, after switching to IP signal in the settings, you can connect up to 16 pcs 1080P IP cameras(no analog cameras)at the same time.
