This non shielded wire is a great home improvement tool to have on hand and is an electrician’s best friend. This 18 AWG 2 conductor direct burial cable, is perfect for your water blocking needs. These cables are first constructed using a premium grade jacket compound which is flame retardant, sunlight resistant and water resistant. It has been developed to be durable in outdoor and direct burial applications. In addition to the jacket, these cables utilize a superior water blocking tape, rather than a messy gel. The special formulated tape stops water in its tracks by blocking migration of moisture throughout the cable. We provide a variety of quantities in this useful cable, including a 500-foot spool and a 1000-foot spool.
