Here are some easy steps to set up the camera:

The default IP of the camera is 192.168.1.18.

Note: does this mean the same IP as your router and computer? That wouldn’t work.

We can use IPWizardIII to search the IP of the camera, then check if it is the same as the network segment of your router and computer. If not, we can modify it on IPWizardIII.

For example:

If the IP of your host is 192.168.0.2, and the cameras ip is 192.168.1.18,

In this case, we should change the network setup to 192.168.0.18 ; Gateway: 192.168.0.1

We can enter the IP ( after any modification ) of the camera in the web address bar of Internet Explorer ( Make sure you install the plug-in: Active X first), then we can access the camera successfully.

If we use Chrome, you install the plugin IE TAB first (just need to search IE TAB on Chrome store to install). , then type the IP into the IETAB bar.

This POE IP camera can work with our JideTech, Amcrest, GW, Hikvision NVR.

Also camera can be worked with most of security monitor software, like Blue Iris, iSpy, VLC Player, IP Cam Viewer, VMS 2.0 and so on.

Motion Detection

After enable the motion detection and setting the area. Whenever a motion is detected, JideTech IP surveillance camera will trigger alerts by immediately pushing notifications to your device. Also sending alert e-mails.

Note:

· Create specific motion detecting zones to monitor certain areas

· Adjust motion detection sensitivity to reduce false alerts.

Full day of security

This camera could switch day/night mode automatically by the IR-CUT. With built-in 36pcs IR LEDs to achieve 65ft night vision range in dark and also keep the excellent image.
