So how did this come about?
Well, you should meet our 83-year-old house. It has many different depths of doors, varying moldings, and unique door frames. Home security systems might have specific mounts for cameras or doorbells but nothing was created for simple sensors requiring adequate alignment. We couldn’t imagine going without a security system, and the one we used in the past had grown on us.

Different depths of doors and windows create gaps that don’t allow magnet and sensor to align, without proper alignment your home safety is compromised.  Your home security system, including your door and window alarm magnet/sensor, works when it is INSTALLED PROPERLY.
